Product Introduction
Thickener is the 1 continuous work of the concentration and clarification equipment, mainly used for wet beneficiation operations, tailings pulp dehydration, but also widely used in coal, steel, chemical, building materials, water, sewage treatment and other solid slurry concentration and purification. The ordinary thickener is reliable, low operating cost, and can store and buffer the feed. However, it is based on the gravity sedimentation of particles as the working principle, and the sedimentation velocity is proportional to the square of the particle diameter, which is used to deal with fine particles, and the efficiency is low. The high-efficiency thickener mainly adopts the rational use of flocculant and the cloth method of feeding at the bottom to improve the settling speed, which is one of the most important advances in concentration technology.

Use
The thickener is suitable for dewatering of concentrates and tailings in mineral processing plants, and is widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, coal, non-metallic mineral processing, environmental protection and other industries. The high-efficiency thickener is actually not a simple settling equipment, but a 1 new type of dehydration equipment combined with the filtration characteristics of the mud layer.

Thickener features are:
(1) adding flocculant to increase the particle size of settling solid particles, thereby accelerating the settling speed;
(2) Installation of inclined plates to shorten the settlement distance of ore particles and increase the settlement area;
(3) to play the role of flocculation, filtration, compression and increase the treatment capacity of the dense phase layer of mud deposition;
(4) Equipped with complete automatic control facilities.

Thickener (high efficiency thickener) is generally mainly composed of concentration tank, cake rack, transmission device, cake rack lifting device, feeding device, unloading device and signal safety device. Thickener (high 

efficiency thickener) the main feature of the work is to add a certain amount of flocculant in the pulp to be concentrated, so that the mineral particles in the pulp form flocs, accelerate the settling speed, and then achieve the purpose of improving the concentration efficiency.

Product working principle

The thickener is mainly composed of two parts: a circular thickener and a rake scraper. The solid particles suspended in the slurry in the thickener settle under the action of gravity, and the upper part becomes clarified water, so that the solid and liquid can be separated. The sludge deposited at the bottom of the concentration tank is continuously collected by rake scraper to the central outlet of the bottom of the tank for discharge, while the clarified water overflows from the upper edge of the concentration tank.
